Meet the Instructor

Mr. Sean Moore joined the CRCC Criminal Justice Program on August 1, 2017, after retiring as a troop staff lieutenant from Troop E, Missouri State Highway Patrol. He was employed almost 32 years with the Patrol while assigned to Troop C, St. Louis and Troop E, Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Prior to joining the Patrol, Mr. Moore was employed as a deputy by the St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana, Sheriff's Department for just over a year.

Mr. Moore earned a Bachelor degree in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and obtained a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University, St. Charles, Missouri.

His work experience with the Missouri State Highway Patrol included:

  • Road trooper
  • S.W.A.T. member
  • Accident Reconstructionist
  • Criminal Drug Interdiction trooper
  • Patrol Supervisor/Troop Staff Lieutenant

He has served as an adjunct instructor at a university and college for several years, and represented the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a senior police instructor for the United States Drug Enforcement Administration and the United States Department of Transportation teaching police officers on a national and international level on criminal drug interdiction enforcement methods.

Mr. Moore is married and has three children. He and his wife are members of the Fellowship General Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
